Champions League: Knocking On Wood Many, Many Times
By: Martha | May 2nd, 2007
I almost don’t want to say anything for fear of breaking the spell. But. The Milan midfield are playing like gods, attacking sharply and defending so well Ronaldo is fleeing the left flank just to get away from Gattuso, who is eating his lunch. Also: Seedorf is a genius and, oh yeah, Kaka scored his 10th Champions League goal.
*knocking on wood* (Again.)
Let’s all just pray Ancelotti and his boys remember how the “We’ll just sit back here and soak up the pressure” approach went at Old Trafford and attack the second half the same way they did the first.

I cannot watch the second half. I’ve got it playing in the other room, mostly turned down so the only thing I’ll hear is if the San Siro erupts after another Milan goal. And that’s what I’ll hear. Right?

I can’t believe I let what happen to Roma a few weeks back against Man-U keep me from DVRing the game. Wow. Congrats to Milan. And kudos to Bob for posting all the goals. Makes it easy to catch up and that Seedorf goal, apart from the dreadful Man-U defense, was pretty impressive.
