Goals of the Week

By: chris | March 18th, 2008

There were a bunch of great goals over the weekend, but they’ll have to step aside, Francesco Cozza’s in the house (just a gorgeous ball).

The Brilliance

Took a page out of the Andrea Pirlo playbook for this one.

The Missile #1

Jose Vidigal just hammers the shit out of this ball, right through Luca Bucci.

The Missile #2

And Cristian Ledesma does more of the same.

The Up & Over

Twice, from Mauro Santana, with a little help from Addy Mutu.

The Reginaldo

For some reason there are zero highlights of the Livorno _ Parma game besides the Vidigal goal, except in the goals compilation. This one’s at the 3:25 mark.

Gotta be Reginaldo for me. Out of the 5, I think it was the goal with the highest quotient of difficulty.

As for Cozza, I agree the strike is very nice but Manninger could have done better on his placement.

True, perhaps then Cozza’s goal was the “most aesthetic”.
