WAG of the Week: Elisabetta Canalis (Take Two)

I always feel a little guilty for revisiting previous WAGs, but Elisabetta Canalis’ original appearance was way back in February, so I feel sort of OK about it in this case. Plus, she’s dated The Great Bobo, which I probably means she should get a perpetual pass, no matter what the offense might be.

Apart from being one of Bobo’s exes, Ms. Canalis is currently in the news because she’s not dating Napoli’s Manuele Blasi. (They both happened to be at the same place, getting MRIs at the same time — wink, wink — and gossipy tongues apparently got a-waggin’.) I mean, you know you’re bigtime when the press write about who you’re not sleeping with. And no, Manuele, I’m not talking about you. Canalis also may or may not have recently dated Didier Drogba. Whoa. (Hopefully she got out before he got so depressed over Mourinho’s departure. What a drag that would have been.)

Nothing much has changed in Elisabetta’s bio since she was last here, but she’s still adorable (here’s a bonus video of her being manhandled by a rather cruel Bobo look-alike), was still in Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, and still has her very own website with irritatingly small pictures. And, coming soon, she’ll be appearing in a movie called Virgin Territory with Hayden Christensen and Mischa Barton. Oh dear. (Given that cast, it won’t surprise you to hear that the movie is more than year past its original release date but has yet to see the light of day outside, oddly enough, of Russia, where it came out late last year.)

  After seeing her, Giorgia Palmas, and Francesco Lodo, I’ve come to the conclusion that the hottest Italian girls come from Sardegna. And since I went there on vacation this summer, I can affirm that my conclusion is correct.

  Chris, I’m assuming it’s not but I suppose you never know what chicks will get up to after Bobo leaves them — I’m sure it’s a difficult time, and getting tattoos of rapper names might be one way of coping.

  And Muddia, THANK YOU. You always notice these important editing things, I’m quite pleased with the pixilation.

  Glad she meets with everyone’s approval, I feel all warm and fuzzy.
