Giovinco states for the 10,679,564th time that he wants to go to Juve

The “Atomic Ant” Sebastian Giovinco has basically said in every interview this season that he wants to go back and play for Juve this summer. So what did the pint sized fantasista say in his latest interview to Calcio 2000 magazine?
“I hope Juve takes me back this summer, But I say that if you are good and you are young then it is right that you should get a game, even in a great team. It works that way abroad, so I don’t see why it should be any different in Italy. Obviously if the club see it another way and send me out on loan again then I will accept without any fuss, but I feel I am ready to play for Juve.”
He also said his idols are Van Basten, Maradona, Platini, and Baggio (Roberto of course, not Dino or Eddy).
Recent rumors said Palermo wanted Giovinco on loan in exchange for Amauri, but it looks like Juventus do indeed have plans to keep Giovinco next season, seeing him as a good sub for Nedved on the left wing. And who knows, if Giovinco impresses, he may take over Nedved’s starting spot by the end of the season. He certainly has all the talent to do it. I think Juventus have a little concern over his size, but with the skill he possesses he will have no problem playing alongside Del Piero, Trezeguet, Camoranesi, etc.
It seems Juve fans have also sent a letter to the Juventus front office that says,
“SE CEDETE SEBASTIAN GIOVINCO VI POTETE SCORDARE I NOSTRI ABBONAMENTI E APPOGGI FINANZIARI SIA NELLO STADIO CHE FUORI!
GIOVINCO NON SI TOCCA!”
“If you sell Sebastian Giovinco you can forget about us buying season tickets and spending our money in the stadium and outside the stadium
HANDS OFF GIOVINCO!”

Giovinco is coming to Juve. If it means the amauri deal wont happen so be it. Gio is the future. Nedved is on his way out and he will be a good replacement. He is EXPLOSIVE. Granted Amauri is also a great talent but in all honesty why would he want to play in Palermo when he can come to the north and play in Europe. He’s coming to Juve; you can kepp Nocerino and Marchioni. They arent needed in our champions league squad.

Giovinco should be allowed to play for Juve this season. He is indeed gifted. Allowing to come on as a sub will allow him to learn the Juve style of play and may even as someone said gain a first team place.

Hey speaking of Giovinco and Calcio 2000, did you read that he would be the hero of a comic strip on the magazine? :) It’s called Le avventure di SuperSeba, and in it Giovinco gets abducted by aliens and forced to resolve some sort of inter-galactic war between planets, by… playing in a soccer match of course.

Steven, it is just because of the love of the club.
I recently traveled to Sicily and spent time in Palermo, Syracusa, Agrigento and Catania. Very beautiful place indeed, but you have to admit players have a greater incentive to travel up the boot when money and champions league are in their immediate future.

Player’s statures? Juve? They should be the last to be sneering at a player’s low center of gravity after having had on their rosters such giants as the likes of Rui Barros , for goodness’ sakes.
