WAG of the Week: Maria Mazza

Ms. Mazza hardly exists on the internets these days (apart from her official page, which takes so long to load you think it’s broken), but once upon a time she was the love of one Francesco Totti’s life, and if you ask RomaChris (who is responsible for her appearance here) and the people on horrible old Geocities fanpages, she still is. Aw. I wonder how Ilary feels about that.

I really can find almost nothing out about Maria, apart from the fact that she’s 29 and was born in none other than New Jersey, ala Giuseppe Rossi. (I’m guessing she’s taller then he is, being a model and all, and probably has less of a nose for goal, but other than that they’re virtually identical.) The few facts I can track down, though, are exactly what you’d guess for any once and future WAG: Beauty queen (she was a finalist in Miss Italy and finished third in Miss Elegance), model and actress, albeit not particularly successful in either of the latter two, based on how hard it is to find recent photos of her.

Anyway, I’m sure you don’t need copious biographical information to enjoy the pictures, so I don’t feel too bad about my failure.
