Gila, Galliani in Unconvincing Love-Fest
By: Martha | June 9th, 2007
Apparently Alberto Gilardino finally realized he’s been acting like a complete ass, and he’s started — possibly too late — the task of cleaning up his mess.
Yesterday Gila appeared before the press to inform them that everything is fine between himself and Milan, and he’s not going anywhere. According to the striker, aided by the aged wisdom of Pippo Inzaghi (Heroic goal-scorer and a shrink, too — what could possibly be next?) he simply saw the light and decided the Rosoneri are the team for him. Not only that, but he somehow convinced Adriano Galiani to say nice things and then stand next to him for a photo in which they both plastered totally genuine grins on their faces. And I’m sure there’s no way they headed for different corners of the room as soon as the photo shoot was over, never to speak again.
So everything is again groovy in Milan country, at least for public purposes. At the very least, everyone can see that no other team is desperate enough to pay £17 million for Gila’s services, so they’d better bury the hatchet sooner than later.

Right, so if tht picture was taken today, then I’m a monkey’s uncle. Barely a fortnight ago his hair was this short. There is no way on God’s green earth it’s grown that quickly.
Or he could be wearing a wig? You know, just to rub it in to Uncle Fester that he’s so totally, iredeemably bald?

HEEE! I AM LOVING THE ‘POSTED FROM PORTUGAL’ FLAG THINGY IN YOUR COMMENT *BEAMS*
Ahem. It’s late. I’m easily pleased. What can I say?
Apart from being mildly disappointe that you have not taken Gila sufficiently to your bosom yet to have noticed it yourself. I can see I have more work to do.Posted from

ME TOO! (Thank you for noticing, and humoring my joy at small things.)
And don’t get too down — the fact that I no longer hate Gila means you’ve already made remarkable progress! That said? Yeah, there’s a ways to get yet before I’m sharing your love for the lad.
