Nesta, Serginho Consorting With the Devil!
By: Martha | March 26th, 2007
According to Google translate, at least. This is how it rendered the headline of seemingly innocuous article: Nesta and Serginho, aim of an incubus. Um … whoa. Needless to say, this has surpassed “argument gay” as my favorite Google translational of all time, but it does beg the question — is it possible to sue an automated translation tool for libel? Because, I mean, being targeted by an incubus is not something that will really help anyone’s image.
Anyway, as disappointing as it is, it turns out the devil is eying neither Alessandro Nesta nor Serginho, at least as far as we know. I believe what Google calls an incubus is actually a nightmare; the pieces is about the return from long-term injury of the two, not their seduction by evil. Both men have been out for ages (Nesta for three months with a shoulder injury, Serginho for six with a career-threatening back problem), and the big news is that they both played a full 90 minutes for Milan’s youth team this weekend, and are officially available to make their returns to the first team next weekend against Roma. Woo hoo! (And not an incubus in sight.)

Il Diavolo or The Devil is also a nickname for Milan aside from Rossoneri.

At least Sandro got to spend his 3 months recovery in sunny Miami rather than cold, snowy Milan.
