One of my friends, a very talented violinist, went touring Italy in high school with some special group. Most of my friends are of some Italian descent back home, he’s a Russian Jew though. Smart guy, but he told me in Firenze he walked up to a store owner of some tacky tourist stuff and asked why he didn’t have any shirts or anything with “Florence” on them.

Also, I really hate Hamsik. You’re not in 7th grade anymore, what is with the hair?

Also man were those school trips always a rip off. Go to Toronto, about 2 hours away, and somehow it’d cost $500 for 2 days.

Alessio are you mad about the hair or the brace he scored on Juve?

It’s awe inspiring how good Ronaldo and Baggio were. What a fantastic time it was for calcio back then.

Indeed it was. A time when Serie A was on top of the world with all of the best stars. This is a game where Totti, Baggio, and Ronaldo were all on the same pitch at the same time. Just awesome thinking about it.

The days of the glory of Roma, Lazio, Parma…do you think we’re building towards that? Certainly right now the Big 3 are at their collective weakest since I can remember, and 4th-8th are very competitive. I don’t think we’ll see a non-Big 3 Scudetto anytime soon, but I think Fiorentina, Genoa, Napoli, Roma, Lazio, Udinese…they are going to keep things interesting. Teams like Parma and Bari have risen and have shocked everyone, this campionato is very even.

I’ve been watching football since the early 90’s and God knows I hate Ronaldo, but the Ronaldo at that time is without a doubt the best player I have ever seen on a pitch. To think that Inter had a team with not only Ronaldo, Baggio and Zamorano, but also Pagliucca, Simeone and a young Zanetti and still didn’t win the league…crazy.

Nice to see Roma rep some decent sized jerseys, instead of the standard XXXXL of the era. Great game…

I think the position he’s playing at Genoa means he would be fantastic in a 4-2-3-1 at Juventus, I’d like to bring him back as I always have been a big fan of Palla, though it was best for all parties for him to go to Genoa. The big question, along with Criscito, is if they will want to come back to Juventus and fight for a space. I think Palladino might want to, he’s still a Bianconero, but Criscito has made comments that he’s uninterested in Juve in the future, which is a big shame.

Agreed alessio. Did u see that backheel against fiorentina?? That was just nasty. Also could play along side of amauri, trez,or iaquinta in a 4312. Could give us more depth and I think he could link up well with gio.

I would love Palla as a replacement for the aging Camoranesi, for both Italy and Juventus. Like Alessio, always been a fan. Just the thought of skillful players like him, Diego and Giovinco linking up is exciting.

Such and underrated player. I’d love to have him back. Hopefully Criscito comes back as well. Either that or Secco has to go kiss Balzaretti’s feet and beg him to come back…because we need one of those two guys on the team. Both would have been amazing…though one of them might not be happy always on the bench.

nah i think palladino should stay where he is and contiue to control genoa’s offence, he wouldnt do too well for a bug club team i think. he’s a great player but i think he does better by makin average players around him better like in genoa, then playin on a team of stars like juventus. anyway with that said i would luv for him to make the world cup squad as i have been followin this guy since he was at livorno and kne he would one day be a great player
