Currently he plays for Pescara in C1A, third division in italy, and he has been followed by Inter and Sampdoria mainly. In an interview he has said that Inter and Sampdoria were the two teams that want to get him during the January transfer, but hes club wants to sell him in the summer. There are plenty of other teams interested in him, including Genoa, and almost all Serie B teams, but as i said only Inter and Sampdoria have sent their agents to Pescara. Edgar is considered by the italian press to be the next Christian Vieri, he is a very strong striker, and shows good composure in front of the net. At 17 last year, he was not allowed to make his debut with Pescara in Serie B, due to some federation issues. If he did, then he probably would have been playing in Serie A this year! He will get his Italian Citizenship soon, so other big teams from other countries are starting to get interested in this kid. He currently only has a youth contract with Pescara, and will be extremly cheap to buy for any of the teams!
