A Sad State of Affairs

Tragically, there won’t be any posting here today — even for my beloved Luis Figo who, as you can see above, clearly reads this site.
If I don’t drown in the deluge that’s hitting New York right now, I’m going to be out all day and will be sadly unable to update you on the latest nuances of the Ronaldinho and Kaka rumors (or anything else, for that matter). You have my deepest apologies, and I promise to be back tomorrow to both watch Livorno v Inter and Milan v Chievo with you AND organize a prayer circle for poor Ascoli as they try to survive Roma’s Sunday visit (perhaps Roma’s inability to understand one another will help).
Stay dry, and keep your heads down if you hear a tornado siren.
