There is a mysterious scientifically-proven phenomenon whereby, from about the 85th minute in certain football matches, reality begins to skew, strange things start to happen, and we enter what's known as "The Juve Zone". (^_^)
In the Juve Zone, by some forces currently unknown to man, mysterious events transpire, and teams Juve play against seem to capitualte, and make uncharacteristic errors.
Especially when we're a goal down, and on occasion, when we're drawing.

The Derby there in Torino entered the Juve Zone.
Trez was a mile offside, but the header played forward (by Zanetti, was it?) wasn't inteded for him, and Dellafiore headed sideways, not backwards to his 'keeper, which meant the offside rule didn't apply to Trezeguet, as it was considered a defensive clearance.

Trezegol hits a first-time cracker from outside the box, with the outside of his foot.

You just couldn't make this kind of thing up.
I heart Juve. (^_^)

uhhhhhh....we weren't arguing Trez's goal. I'm going to now stop giving that douchebag credit...for anything.

And I think the best striker in Italy is Ibra or Crespo, Roberto. And no...I'm not an Inter fan. Don't like them, don't hate them either. Just based on what I've seen thus far this year, I'd rate them both higher than whats-his-face.

If Collina lasts the whole season then I think he'll be a fixture there and Serie A will all the better for it. But I can just as likely see him being done with this by Christmas. God, what a job. Italian Presidents have to be the absolute worst sons of bitches to deal with and I'll include my boy De Laurentis in that crew.

No matter how much you dislike us, no matter how badly you'd like to bet us, Trez's legal goal was simply what deadly strikers do. They can change a game in the last second leaving players, fans, and coaches (in this case) pissed off wondering what just happened.

Forza Trezegol- Best striker in Italy

I feel EXACTLY the same way, Joe -- <strike>hate</strike> strongly dislike Trezeguet, desperately wanted Torino to win, but don't have a complaint about the goal. What do you think for the Collina resignation? Christmas? Then he'll devote himself to fishing and cigars, ala Lippi.

I know it's not the Italian way...and God knows I take every opportunity to slam Juventus, but does no one ever lose with dignity anymore? JesusMotherMaryandJoseph. Trez is my least favorite player on my least favorite Serie A side and I think the goal was legit. Collina has one hell of a year ahead of him. I wonder how long he'll last before he just ups and tells Lega Calcio to eff themselves?
