I’m starting to fall in love with this Giovinco guy. He never struck my eye in Juve’s Serie B campaign (then again, he only played 3 games) but now I stand fu**ing corrected.

Along with Paolo De Ceglie, Juve’s (and the Azzurri’s future) is looking bright.

Is it me or does Sebastian Giovinco remind you a little bit of another rather on the short side player…I’m talking about Cannavaro. I was watching and I’m like holly fudge doesn’t he look like canna? I don’t know about you but he does to me. I didn’t really get to watch the game because I had to watch little bear with my little brother. I learned how to get rid of hiccups though. I’m glad that they won at least and they thrashed the crap outta them.

If ever there’s a sign for future greatness it’s the Alonzo Mourning vein in the dome. I wasn’t sold, now I am. It’s all about the vein.

Although clearly Gio’s is much straighter and without the squigglies. Which means he won’t be very adept at jumping high and blocking shots – not that being 3′7 has anything to do with that.

Today Daniele Dessena showed why he’s such a highly rated young talent. He was all over the pitch. He can defend, tackle, attack, score, he’s truly a complete midfielder.

Cigarini played well also, and Cerci made a good debut.

De Ceglie was excellent on the left wing.

Of course, the praise has to go to Sebastian Giovinco. The little guy is amazing. He forms a great partnership with Acquafresca as well.
