Inter and Juve both had makeshift teams. Hopefully the next time that will not be the case and Inter can pull out the win. Ray Hudson makes me laugh sometimes with all the crazy paasion he has but he certainly doesn't know shit about Inter. Rivas impressed me too, that kid was all business yesterday and he was playing like he was on a mission. Crespo got called offsides like 7 times and I think he was onside atleast 3 of them. We just lacked the presence of Zanetti from the start. Somebody like him could have controlled the tempo of the game better for Inter from the beginning. Zanetti, Cambiasso, and Ibrahimovic have been awesome lately and not one of them played any significant amount of time in this game which surprised me. I thought they would have put a better lineup out there because that is such a big game against Juve. Great game by Toldo though...

Sofia, Inter were playing with a makeshift team, too. Just sayin'. (:

Johnny, I hate Ray Hudson so much, I can't even express it in words. During the first Reggina match, he spent the whole time talking about how Samuel couldn't get into the team because Materazzi had been so good all season. *siiiigh*

I was so impressed by Rivas -- that's the first time he's look good to me and, while Pele still makes me nervous, that pass to Cruz was fantastic; if he can show that sort of vision more often, he may turn into a real asset. (And TOTALLY agree about Vieira. holy cow was he slow.)

The announcer on GOLTV had me cracking up talking about Chivu being the engine etc..He kept talking about all of the players Juve were missing. He kept saying how good Juve looked. ( I hope so they had an extra player) What about no Ibrahimovic, Maicon and the fact Zanetti and Cambiasso only played 15 minutes. The fact the Pele and Rivas played the entire game (and quite well). It was a good performance by Inter playing with only 10 men, I just hope the return game we play are best players that is all. I don't want any excuses. And can we please get rid of Viera...he does not deserve to even wear the shirt of Inter. I don't care if he is hurt or not. The bastard is always hurt. He came on towards the end and looked like a slow, clumsy waste of space.

ok wow so that inter - juve game was intense! i mean in the 7th minute inter already injured marcchioni with a potential season ending injury. then in the 10th minute a red card for inter! wow good times...juve controlled the first half, no doubts. inter looked mighty confused out there..then in the second half with mancio looking real worries he starts to bring in the big(er) guns from the bench where ranieri makes no subs, yet. of course with a makeshit team juve were playing with (no nedved, buffon(!), camo, brazzo, chiellini, etc.) it was a matter of time before our "defence" were to collapse. unfortunately we had some shitty marking abilities and the 2 goals weere scored. when ADP scored though i could feel the happiness of all other juventini out there. then boumsong scored and i honestly took back everything bad i had ever said about him...hes a friggn amazing decoy player..no one bothered to cover him much becuase they figure its boumsong...im shakin in my boots...well they should be!! haha well next leg we will (hopefully) have most of our starters back..

Hussein, I'm an Inter supporter and agreed with your frustration with the failure to mention the man down thing for a lot of the first half, but it's really hard to argue that Inter were any good for that first 45, a man down or not. For a lot of the second half, though, they were definitely the better side, I totally agree. Just a pity about letting up and allowing Juve to equalize ...

I think Juve should be happy to walk away with 2 precious away goals after putting such dismal performance. The team lacked creativity and had no clue what to do the ball especially in the 1st half when all what they were trying is crossing the ball from the right wing area in hope to scramble a goal out of the blue!!

Compliments must go to Inter for being able to contain a supposedly "hungry" Juve side with ten men for 80 minutes, I must mention again for 80 MINUTES! The reason I'm putting this word in caps is to remind those who haven't seen the match about this fact which has been implicitly ignore by the media for one reason or another!
