RIP, Filippo Raciti.

It feels hopelessly naive to even ask, but may your death, unlike the many that have come before it at Italian football grounds, not have happened in vain.

This has simply got to stop.

  RIP. I really, really hope Luca Pancalli sticks to his decision. Part of being in love with the most socio-politically cracked-up league in the world is that tragedy is always peering through the mask of comedy that so many of us (including your eloquent self) choose to see it through. But it’s long past time to get serious.
