Then I was watching World Cup and saw Beckham ralph on the field. Then I watched him cry about the team. And next thing I know my brain's going all fuzzy and maternal and I want to make things All Better. All of a sudden (it's ugly, sad, illogical, but true) I like Beckham. He needs to be in MLS where I can keep an eye on him. (Now if we could just get Zizou.) Y’know, Martha, I used to feel that way too. Then I was watching World Cup and saw Beckham ralph on the field. It was incredible! They sold out Seahawks stadium. 67,000 or so. Pretty amazing to see all those people there to watch soccer in the US.
