Forget it, Milan — Mrs. Oddo Has Spoken
By: Martha | January 8th, 2007
Oh, Adriano Galliani. You thought that by talking to Massimo Oddo and his agent about your continued interest in the player, you thought you could convince him to leave Rome for a place in your back line, didn’t you? So naive, Adriano. So trusting and naive. It turns out the person you should have talking to is Claudia Oddo, Massimo’s wife (not his mother, thankfully) — she’s the one who wears the pants in the family, it appears.
Speaking at a charity function over the weekend, Mrs. Oddo blithely told the press that she and her man will be staying with Roma, thanks very much. Not for any even slightly football-related reasons, of course, but rather because the Oddos are trying to get pregnant, and are “well settled in Rome.” What’s that, Massimo? You didn’t want the whole world to know that your wife is off her birth control, and that the two of you are having unprotected sex? Fret not — I’m sure you won’t get a bit of stick (so the speak) about it in training.

A player taking crap from other players for having sex? In Italy?
Oh, wait. It’s with his wife.
Never mind.

Muddia: I only found a few pics of “Claudia Oddo,” and wasn’t actually sure if they were Oddo’s wife, or some chick who had the same name. Don’t worry, though, I’ve got my eye out!
Laurie: Brilliant, my friend. Brilliant.

Yikes, the kid looks just like the old man. Good job finding the pic though.

Muddia: No problem, but Davide is adorable and there is nothing wrong with Massimo Oddo.

Are you kidding Louise? Look at the size of the melon on that kid.

You’re wrong, Muddia. I’ve seen other pics (which of course I can’t find right now) and Davide is as cute as a button.
