Giuseppe Rossi was a Milan player for a couple of seconds

By: Francesco | July 27th, 2009

Yep, it’s true, for a couple of seconds today Giuseppe Rossi was a Milan player. Just a couple of moments ago various radio stations in the Milan area reported that on the AC Milan official website it was announced in the news section that Milan had officially signed the 22 year old striker from Villarreal. However after a minute or two the news was quickly removed from the website. There can be two solutions to this: (1) It was a hacker’s doing, much like the Luca Toni to Dortmund story a couple of days ago, or (2) a Milan official made a really bad mistake and leaked the transfer before it had even been announced. I think Milan fans everywhere are hoping for option 2, but it could just as easily be option 1. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

I’d love to see him back in the peninsula… I was just hoping it’d be for Roma (yeah I know that’s unrealistic, but hey, I’m a roma fan)

Does anyone else think a Diego-Giovinco-Rossi combination an Juve would be insane?

Or how a Rossi-Milito-Eto’o / Rossi-Balotelli-Eto’o combo at Inter would be even more insane? :)

Milano looked terrible against Bayern Munich yesterday, no defence no offence. G. Rossi could work together with Pato nicely. There is something missing in Milan and it seems the coach has / could not figure it out.
