Goals of the week: Giornata 4

By: Francesco | September 22nd, 2009

Lots of goals scored this week, with only one 0-0 draw (Napoli-Udinese) and many teams scoring 3+ goals. There were some nice ones this week. Goals after the jump.

Emanuel Rivas vs. Atalanta – The Bari midfielder scores a nice opening goal. Dribbles to the center and unleashes a laser strike from around 20 yards out.

Jorge Martinez vs. Lazio – Catania’s Uruguayan striker receives a nice touch from Morimoto and unleashes a superb strike that powers past Muslera.

Claudio Marchisio vs. Livorno – Marchisio is gaining comparisons to Marco Tardelli and this is exactly why. He makes an excellent run, Camoranesi finds him, and he puts a delicate chip over De Lucia.

Clarence Seedorf vs. Bologna – The best thing about this goal isn’t shown on the replay, as Seedorf ran all the way from his own box to score this goal. The nice move past Raggi and finish are nice as well.

Daniele De Rossi vs. Fiorentina – Excellent triangle between the two bandiere of Roma, Totti and De Rossi. De Rossi with the long pass for Totti, who stops it and puts in a perfect cross for the head of De Rossi, who finishes past Frey.
