Goals of the Week: Giornata 6
By: Francesco | September 29th, 2009
I’m just going to throw it out there: this might be the worst goals of the week post of all time. Nothing spectacular at all this weekend, most goals were very plain and ordinary. Of the 18 goals scored this weekend, about 3 are top goal worthy. But let’s see this week’s goals of the week (hoping that Giornata 7 brings us better ones):
Massimo Maccarone vs. Napoli – The Siena striker controls a long pass very nicely in the area, shakes off Leandro Rinaudo, and scores with a precision finish.
Daniele Dessena vs. Parma – The Cagliari midfielder scores against his hometown club. He receives a pass from Cossu in the area, turns around Dzemaili, and finishes with his left foot.
Jeda vs. Parma – This is a nice triangle play between Jeda and Cossu. Jeda lays it out wide to Cossu, who puts in a pinpoint cross for the Brazilian who made a nice run and finishes it past Mirante.
Antonio Di Natale vs. Genoa – The Udinese number 10 is still the top scorer and this goal added to his tally. A nice combination play with Alexis Sanchez, and then the turn and finish past Marco Amelia.
Hopefully next week is better.
