Despite the fan base, K, Berlusconi does not consider Naples to be a club big enough for his Super League. Not to mention, I think Naples may be a wee bit too … er… southern for his and the Lega Nord’s taste.

Personally, it is one of my favorite cities, but then, I am not a racist/classist fuck like some Prime Ministers (and mayors? Rome, I am looking at you!) I can name.

napoli is not a small team… they have one of the biggest fan bases in italy… they would most definately be in the top division…

So I know Chris is busy, but I think this is the perfect thing to discuss here:

He thinks that the Serie A should be smaller so that the big, expensive clubs wont have to play in the provinces were even the tiny little stadiums dont sell out.

He says “Speaking to Radio Radio, Il Cavaliere explained that teams with fewer spectators should have their own Division, separate from those with large grounds and huge fan bases.”

No offense to any Italians who voted for his party, but what a colossal dick!

That is one of the joys of Football – that Napoli beats Inter, that Livorno holds Roma, that there are giant killers around every corner.

In any event, I figured that if I was wrong with my opinion, someone here would tell me.
