Mannini and Possanzini suspension terminated

Remember the whole fiasco a couple of months back when Brescia striker Davide Possanzini and Napoli winger Daniele Mannini were suspended for a year for showing up 15 minutes late to post-match drug testing? Well, they both can breathe huge sighs of relief as today TAS suspended the decision, allowing Mannini and Possanzini to get back on the football pitches. The whole problem dates back to December 2007, when Mannini and Possanzini both played for Brescia. After a defeat they were held in the locker room by their manager and for this they were both 15 minutes late to their mandatory drug test. Even though they both tested negative, they were both sentenced to a one-year suspension by international organization of sport WADA because of the tardiness. The suspension caused an outrage around the peninsula, with many stating how unfair and pointless the suspension was. Serie A and Serie B even started 15 minutes later than usual in protest. After being on the sidelines for around 2 months, the Tribunal Sports Court suspended the decision today, allowing both players to finally become footballers again. Davide Possanzini is the Brescia captain and a very important part of their attack, while Daniele Mannini plays for Napoli and his suspension led to the signing of Jesus Datolo from Boca Juniors, who hasn’t impressed since arriving. Brescia and Napoli will be very happy to have their players back.

To be fair to Datolo, he's only been there a few weeks.
