Parma v Palermo: I Think This is Officially a Crisis.

By: Martha | December 3rd, 2006

Not Palermo and Parma, thank God.Those of you who recorded the game and plan to watch it later, ERASE IT NOW. Those who, like me, watch it live, please join me in forgetting that it ever happened. For the rest of you lucky souls who have no idea what I’m talking about, suffice to say that, over the course of the 90 minutes of “play,” the following words were used by announcers to describe the game: “Dire,” “Dreadful,” and “Desperate.” And they were being kind — trust me. Every time the remaining time was mentioned, the clear implication was “We only have a few minutes left until we’re free. Free!” Both teams were awful, but only one of them stands third in the table. And, based on that performance, Palermo’s lofty place is beyond undeserved.

In less profoundly depressing news, look — a puppy!
