Rino Gattuso is a Stud
By: Martha | December 28th, 2007
While most everyone in European football is on vacation — either in Miami with Zlatan, Como with the Argies, Brazil with the Brazilians, or partying with one Fabio Cannavaro at his villa in Madird — Rino Gattuso is busy training. Seriously.
In Glasgow to visit his wife’s family for the holidays, Gattuso apparently was too jumpy to sit still, so he’s joined former club Glasgow Rangers on the training pitch and they prepare for this weekend’s trip to Hibs. Since the SPL ignores the existence of a winter break, there’s ample opportunity for Rino to spend a couple more days in full training with them before returning to Italy ahed of Milan’s trip to Dubai January 2nd, where they’ll train and play a match with the UAE national team.
Can you imagine being a kid at Rangers, suddenly coming up against a rabid Rino Gattuso in the middle of your training pitch? By the end of the week, everyone will either be in love, covered in blood, or ready to kill him. Or, if they’re lucky, all of the above.

Man, I love Rino. He just keeps adding to his legend. Rino cuddly? Sure like the way a grizzly is cuddly when he’s sleeping in a cabe.

Good win-win training deal. Maybe more Scottish teams can take advantage of their lack of winter break and allow more players to come and train. Interesting idea.

Mele, not even kidding, me too! I haven’t gotten the 07/08 yet because I kind of hate it, but I will break down eventually, because it’s Gattuso.

Rino looks like my dad, only my dad’s hair and eyes are lighter. Other than that, they could be brothers. Our Azzurri jerseys are of course of number 8, and whenever we where them, I got to admit, there’s a hope we’re mistaken for relatives…
