Ronaldinho vs. Cassano: Serie A assist leaders meet up tomorrow
By: Francesco | December 4th, 2009
A lot of credit always goes to the goalscorers of Serie A, but not enough credit goes to the players that create the goals. Tomorrow is Milan-Sampdoria, and the two top assist-men face off at the San Siro: Antonio Cassano and Ronaldinho. Currently, Cassano leads the charts with 7, while Ronaldinho is just behind with 6. Cassano has only scored 1 goal this season, while Ronaldinho has 3 (with 2 penalties), so from open play both players are even. Both have similar styles of play, they both like to start out wide, and then cut inside and attack, beating a few players and delivering that killer ball. And of course, both players are two of the more entertaining players to watch in all of the peninsula. If they are both on song tomorrow, it should be an excellent game. Videos after the jump.
All of Cassano’s 7 assists this season:
There are no videos with only Ronaldinho-Milan assists, so here’s just a generic Ronaldinho-Milan 2009/2010 video:
