granata are going to make there move in the coppa italia. I think they need another one or two seasons in serie b then they will be ready. They have that new owner don’t know his name but if he can stack up some cash next 2 seasons and buy a good stricker and midfielder they will be ok. Di Napoli is so old I don’t know how long he has left. I think his contract has 2 more years.

The new Salernitana president gave an interesting interview to RAI radio from on the pitch just before the Empoli match. He seems to have his head screwed on straight, and realises that there is tremendous potential there (they already are leading Serie B in attendance).
I agree with Joe that another year in B would do them well, clubs that go up the pyramid too quickly have a tendency to gasp for air at the top.
This is shaping up to be the most balanced Serie B campaign in recent years, and is almost certain to be very interesting until the end.
