Serie A Goals of the Week: Giornata 35

Usually I just include the goals of the week into the Serie A weekend round-up but as Roberto stated in the comments this week there were just too many nice goals to only choose the 4 best goals. So after the jump enjoy the beauties that were on display this weekend.

Simone Perrotta vs. Cagliari – The World Cup winner hasn’t had the best of seasons but this is definitely the best of finishes. Totti and Motta combine and then the ball arrives to Perrotta who slams it into the upper corner.

Vincenzo Iaquinta vs. Milan – The Calabrese striker scores a powerful diving header effort from a pinpoint cross from Camoranesi. Really became an important player for Juve in this second half of the season.

Stevan Jovetic vs. Catania – The young Montenegrin wonderkid scores his second goal in Serie A with a nice control and great finish from outside the area.

Michele Marcolini vs. Inter – The hardworking midfielder is known to have a great left foot and he shows his quality here with a beautiful shot from 25 yards out.

Mario Balotelli vs. Chievo – This gets my vote as goal of the week. Balotelli shows his superstar potential with this absolutely perfect volley.

Emanuele Calaio’ vs. Palermo – Great team move by Siena. Zuniga for Ghezzal who then returns it to the Colombian fullback who dishes it out for Calaio’ who evades his marker and finishes past Amelia.

Tommaso Rocchi vs. Udinese – Excellent turn and finish from the edge of the area by the Lazio captain.

Gaetano D’Agostino vs. Lazio – The Udinese midfielder has had an awesome season and this free kick is perfect. Look for him to make a move to a big club this summer.

Daniele Dessena vs. Reggina – Two goals for Dessena vs. Reggina and they are both excellent finishes from outside the area.

So I know its near the end of the season but I need feedback for future reference, do you guys like this “day-after separate goals of the week post” format or the old method of just putting the 4 best goals in the Weekend Round-up?
