Joe - I was at the game last night and any fan reaction was borne out of the fact that the Roma players feigned injury on too many occasions. There was even a comedy moment when Curci and Perrotta were rolling about in the box and the ref. told them to get up. Sitting in the stands without the benefit of TV replays affects your immediate judgement. And just for the record, Aquilani was roundly applauded by the United fans as he was carried from the field.

Is it wrong that my initial reaction to Obinna's crash is to lob obscenities in the direction of Inter? If those bastards didn't interfere with his transfer to Fiorentina, then he wouldn't have been driving on the same road where the other dude died!

But, seriously, I'm glad he's ok, if a little shaken up. And maybe they can get that road fixed in Verona, damn.

Very classy moves by Man Utd fans last night. They booed both when Curci went down and then again with Aquilani. Jackasses. What a terrible loss for Roma and, more importantly (for me anyway), the Azzurri.
