Siena v Inter: Champions at Last!

The game itself was uninspiring (though we did find out Douglas Maicon’s parents were trying to name him after Michael Douglas, only to be foiled by a careless hospital employee), and the win more a result of Siena failing to take their chances then Inter beating them but, in the end, none of that matters: Congrats to Inter Milan, 2006-2007 Serie A champions.

  after seeing this picture, I felt the need to go to the inter website to see if there were any similar photos…and sure enough there were. and this made me wonder…why do some players feel the need to celebrate in their underwear?

  this also brings back memories of Gattuso running around the field in his undies after the world cup win

  now I’m not complaining…I’m just saying…what’s with all the tighty-wighties?

  Stankovic, in particular, seems to love the underwear look. Makes one wonder what they get up to when the cameras aren’t around …
