Totti to Milan? Please.
By: Martha | November 14th, 2006
Apropos of nothing, tribalfootball.com (AKA the least reliable news site on earth) is reporting this morning that Francesco Totti was spotted lurking around the San Siro yesterday — which, of course, means he’ll make a Shock Move! to Milan come January. Uh huh. And then Paolo di Canio will rise from Serie C and rejoin Lazio to lead them to the title, right? Tell me another one. I know nothing is for sure with all the money in football these days, but Totti leaving Roma seems about as likely as Maldini leaving Milan — barring the end of the world, it’s just not going to happen.
Just to make sure this report is utter crap, though, I damaged my brain by Babelfish-ing every recent story I could find in Italian sports papers that featured the word “Totti.” What did I find? He scored two goals against Milan, his wife is four months pregnant with their second child, and the proud parents are (thank you, flawless translating tool) “to the seventh sky” with joy. Hey, that’s almost the same as moving to Milan.

hahaha .. toti will never leave …. My mate was at the roma gmae on the weekend and he said that no other football fans are more hardcore and passionate about a team than the roman fans .. that being said, look at it this way, cassano will never re join roma as long as totti is there, thats how much influence the man has on the club
