Video: Gol di Tacco
By: Francesco | October 13th, 2008The “gol di tacco” (heel flick goal) is something that is rare and when it occurs it is revered by fans and media. It’s probably one of the most difficult things to do in football (although it does take some luck) and that’s why we don’t see it often. In the past 2 weeks the calcio world has seen 2 beautiful “gol di tacco”. First was Zlatan Ibrahimovic vs. Bologna, and this weekend in Serie B Fausto Rossini of Livorno did his best Ibrahimovic imitation against Livorno. I’ve decided to compile all of the Italian “gol di tacco” videos I could find (simply by searching ‘gol di tacco’ on youtube) and posted them here for everyone to enjoy. Videos after the jump.
Ibrahimovic vs. Bologna
Rossini vs. Frosinone
Mancini (Amantino) vs. Lazio
Del Piero vs. Borussia Dortmund
Zanini vs. Empoli
Del Piero vs. Treviso
Bettega vs. Milan
Zola vs. Norwich
and the final goal has been called the best Serie A goal of the modern era, Roberto Mancini’s gol di tacco vs. Parma. He just simply guides the ball into the back of the net with the sole of his boot:

Don’t forget Rabah Madjer’s 1987 Champions League final goal vs Bayern Munich. That one’s pretty famous as well. The French have been referring to heel goals “à la Madjer” since then.

Another Alex classic, his jumping-backheel goal in the derby against the Toro.
