Video of the Week: The Luca Toni Theme Song

By: Francesco | January 23rd, 2009

It’s no secret that with all the goals Luca Toni has scored in Germany he has become an idol for Bayern Munich fans all over the world. But one fan in particular decided that he loved Luca Toni so much that he had to write a song for him. The German fans have to help me out here, because I don’t know if “Matze Knop” is the name of a group or one guy but he/they is/are the author of the song, titled “Numero Uno”. It’s in Italian, and basically it just names random Italian things that rhyme throughout the whole thing. You don’t understand Italian? No problem, the maker of the video put a picture of every single thing named in the video. Enjoy Luca Toni’s theme song after the jump.

Oh please. Toni is sooooooo much better looking than Amauri. Plus, there is some spark of intelligence behind Luca’s eyes. Tragically, there is none in Amauri’s – which is probably why he needs his own name tattooed on his arm.

Toni better looking than Amauri?? No way! He looks like an overgrown kiddo with those utterly idiotic expressions of his. Only very rarely he ends up looking sweet.

Mmmh… what’s with this German obsession with Eurodance music? I have to admit the song kinda grows on you after a while though…

I’m still trying to decide whether the singer is an Italian living in Germany, or a German that learnt Italian as a foreign language. The pronunciation wasn’t half bad. :)

Hahahahaha!!! “Luca Toni; telefoni; Berlusconi…”…my favourite part!!! Very catchy song. Makes no sense, but still better than Soulja Boy.

Of all years, why would you want the jersey from 2002? Most of us here are still trying to remove that Summer from our collective memories.

In my opinion it was the best looking jersey they ever had. It was also stylish and comfortable. Which is your favourite?

kappa, I agree with Marco, but if you must relive those horrible 2002 memories, check here and scroll through the pages, I’ve seen them carry them:

    That’s kQQL Vid …………….Francesco….
I think if Lippi played 4-4-1-1 or 4-4-2 , Toni could be be good for with Italy too….Too bad Azzurri are still stuck w/ 4-3-3….even though Donadoni is long gone..

Of all the Azzurri jerseys, I have a particular fondness for the following:

    1) USA 94 by Diadora – First time I really got excited for the Azzurri, and Roby Baggio made that shirt look so cool.
    2) Euro 2000 by Kappa – Love the stretchy & adherent feeling. Plus we played a good tournament, minus you know… the final. But the shirt & fabric kick ass.
    3) Germany 2006 by Puma – for obvious reasons.

By the way, is it just me or does anyone else have the irresistible urge to listen to this song at least once a day?? Thanks a fu**ing lot Francesco!

But also, if you go based on good memories, that means that our new light blue tops and brown shorts have a chance to be a favorite if they win in 2010

Those brown shorts had better disappear before 2010. Or else I’ll be forced to support another team. I mean it.
