Stella first came to the attention of the football watching public as arm candy for Lapo Elkan, the Agnelli grandson, international playboy and media darling Juve supporter who ran into a spot of bother two years ago with a Brazilian transexual and an industrial quantity of cocaine, ending up in the same hospital that Pessotto was taken to after his unfortunate episode. Lapo is back in circulation now (and cleaner), but my guess is that this an attempt by Stella and her "people" to get her back into the limelight.
