WAG of the Week: Aida Yespica

Ms. Aida Yespica is doubly qualified to appear as a WAG of the Week,* as she is both an ex of Pippo Inzaghi (how he scored this woman I cannot begin to imagine) and, more recently, the woman who got Silvio Berlusconi into so much trouble with his wife. And, really, who can blame him? Speaking as a generally straight woman, I feel compelled to say this may officially be the sexist WAG we’ve ever featured. I’ll keep aiming high, of course, but damn. This one is going to be hard to beat.

In terms of her career, before she went down the now-standard nude modeling path, Aida appeared in the 2002 Miss Venezuela paegent as Miss Amazonia. She didn’t win but, given her 90-60-90 measurements (dear God, please tell me those are centimeters) and general hotness, she became wildly popular in the press and, a year later, headed to Italy to begin taking her clothes off for money.

Eventually, like everyone else, she ended up on TV, both as a presenter and as a reality TV star on a show called L’isola dei Famosi (as far as I can tell, it’s an Italian version of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!). On that show, her ass-kicking personality — in addition, one assumes, to her other considerable assets — made her a big fan favorite, and surely went a long way towards landing her subsequent TV and acting gigs.
