WAG of the Week: Daniela Cicarelli (Take Two)

For those of you not up on such things, Daniela Cicarelli — she was around here once before — was once engaged (and sort of married) to Ronaldo, but she’s famous almost entirely for sex she was taped having on a beach with her banker boyfriend. The thing turned up on YouTube and everywhere else (If you do a search for her name you’ll find a whole lotta ways to see it, though I’m warning you, it’s really not worth the time it’ll take to watch it.), which led to both a lawsuit against YouTube and, more importantly, massive fame for Ms. Cicarelli. One guess as to which one was bigger deal.
Also, just for those of you who think the US is going to hell in a handbasket, the full 20 minute tape was shown on Brazlian TV. TWICE. Once with commentary (!), once without. At least we’re not to that point quite yet.
Oh, and in addition to being an accidental pornstar and the (semi) ex-wife of a footballer, Daniela is also a model, something she’s been doing since the ripe old age of 12.

I remembered you were a fan, mele — glad you like installment two (if I could find more photos from this shoot, she could get a whole month to herself).
And it’s the Brazilian one, though unlike Taib I prefer to call him The Formerly Fat Ronaldo (as opposed to Man U’s The Pretty Ronaldo).

hah! Danila Cicarelli month! How awesome would that be? =P
Oh yeah, I forgot, it’s not his fault he was fat. It was his thyroid.
And on a side note, I think Pretty Boy isn’t really even that good. He just moves his feet a lot, and really fast. He was basically useless in the matches against Milan in the CL, because Rino was up his ass the entire match and gave him no room to work. All in all, Pretty Boy is extremely overrated.

I honestly tried to watch it, Laurie, but it’s just flat boring. SOOOOO boring. And they’re not actually IN the ocean the whole time, just sort of standing in it, until they become desperate for camouflage and wage deeper. Really, those are the main high points right there, though I suppose the absence of Ronaldo is one, as well.

Mele, I really hated the Pretty Ronaldo until I saw him play in person a bunch of times @ Euro 2004, and he really, really impressed me — not even his skill as much as his toughness and desire, which is stuff you don’t hear associated with him that much. That said, he could still do with fewer stepovers, and a different club team.

NSFWAnd as for Pretty Boy, while I stomped all over him, I’m sure he really does have talent and desire and toughness. I admit he is a very admirable player. I greatly respect him. But at the same time, he’s just plain old overrated. He’s like Beckham in America now. Everyone thinks he’s this amazing God or something, when really he’s way past his prime and he’s starting to lose it.

Mele, As a Manchester United season ticket holder who sees Cristiano week-in, week-out, trust me … he is absolutely not overrated. He had a phenominal season last year, scooped every fan and press award in England and continues to dazzle now that he is back from an innocuous suspension. Granted, his only poor game was against Milan, but he wasn’t the only Manchester United player you could level that at. Plus his physique is tremendous!! Its rumoured that Bobo is basing his new chisled torso on his!!! There’s only one Ronaldo !! - Cristiano …………
