WAG of the Week: Daniela Cicarelli

Those of you familiar with the WAG world surely know Daniela Cicarelli. She’s the chick who was about marry Ronaldo when it was discovered he’d been divorced for less than 12 months and therefore couldn’t legally GET married again quite yet. (No worries, the happy couple said. We’ll turn it into a spectacular engagement blowout instead! So spectacular, in fact, that Ronaldo suffered a toe injury at the event. But that’s a story for another time.) The pressures of marriage engagement were too great for the happy couple, though, and it was only a matter of a few months before Daniela was filmed having sex with a new man on the beach. (Yes, that woman is the one I’m talking about. Yes, I know the video’s gone. What do you take me for?)

Believe it or not, Daniela did exist before she almostmarried Ronaldo, and definitely before she was having sandy, sticky ocean sex with some banker guy. In fact, she comes from good WAG stock, born in Brazil of Italian parents and winning the national Elite model competition at the tender age of 14. At the time, her wise father forbade a move to So Paulo to start her career, so she stayed in school studying business administration, modeled a bit on the side and was a generally spectacular daughter.

As an old woman of 20, she finally went pro in the modeling world and, thanks (in part) to this Pepsi ad and subsequent high-profile runway gigs, she shortly usurped Gisele Bndchen as the Reigning Queen Bee of Brazilian Models. Though the reality show/showgirl thing doesn’t seem as popular in Brazil as it is in Italy (more’s the pity), she did very shortly get a hosting gig on MTV which, really, is about the same in terms of exposure and credibility.

And then came the Ronaldo debacle, following by that whole beach-sex/suing YouTube thing which, while they both sort of demolished whatever credibility she had, did wonders for her exposure. Woo hoo for the internets!

  Funny thing was, my boss passed by my office just as I went to the page; though I’m an artist by work I’m a techie at heart, and I’m the fastest on the draw when it comes to switching screens via alt+tab.

  Seeing this pic caused me to fumble the keyboard, and I was like a deer in headlights… Oh, and what lovely headlights they are.

  (couldn’t help the pun, sorry ’bout that)

  Girl friend caught me ‘reading’ the article. hah.
  Somewhat skanky, but still very, very good looking. Ironic, the only picture so far (i think) without large nipple shields, yet it’s the skanky-est of them all.

  It is remarkable that the woman in some semblance of dress is indeed sleasier than most of those in deshabille.

  However, Martha, if you are posting weekly pics of topless women to make it up to the men for all the pics of hot men you post, should not at least one of the weekly footballer pics be topless? With nipple shields, of course. And with summer beach season upon us, there should be some good ones to choose from.

  And alt+tab? Really?! This is the most educational blog.
