WAG of the Week: Elisabetta Canalis

Ok, so I’m fudging a bit here — Canalis isn’t with a footballer at the moment as far as I know but, as one of Christian Vieri’s many gorgeous exes, I figure she deserves to be grandfathered into this feature. Also, I like her.

Apart from describing her an as actress, model and showgirl (A showgirl! Is she our first?) Wikipedia’s not got much to say about Elisabetta, but from what I can track down she’s been a popular TV personality in Italy for a while, appearing on programs from dramas (including a late season of Police Officers, which you may remember from last week) to variety programs, including a sports show on which she was a host. Granted, she has to wearing those insanely skimpy outfits that seem to be contractual requirements for women who talk sports on Italian TV, but still — a woman who knows sports! Holla! She apparently met Vieri while covering football for the show, which gets her several bonus points from me. (And she needed those points when I found out she was in Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, a movie to which I object on principle.)

Double-secret Elisabetta facts:

•I have no idea what’s going on in this clip, but she looks lovely and seems like she’s laughing at herself, which adds to the bonus points.
•For a woman whose bare bobs are all over the internets, she’s hilariously modest.
•She has a dog. And she loves him very much. Awwwww.
•The tattoos are real, so she’s at least slightly badass.

I assure you there are many, many hotter pictures out there of this woman, but as they’re replete with nipples I was forced to resort to this one. Go forth and explore for yourselves.
