WAG of the Week: Fernanda Lessa
By: Martha | April 19th, 2007
Like the lovely Elisabetta Canalis before her, Ms. Lessa is one of the many who once had the great pleasure of dating Christian Vieri. (Thank goodness he’s a serial dater of gorgeous women — without him this feature might be in real trouble.) Their relationship was a short one but, really, we don’t care too much about those details here: The fact that they were together at all is good enough to earn her WAG status. Plus, I mean, there’s already tape on her nipples! How could I not use this photo?
Though she started her modeling career and made the move to Milan very young, the Rio-born Lessa only achieved wide fame in Italy after 2000, when she made the cover of Italian GQ, as well as in a couple of major advertising campaigns. In addition, she appeared in several very NSFW calendars, by both GQ and our old friends at Max. (She apparently met Vieri about this time when they did a photo shoot together, though I’ve been totally stymied in my efforts to find the resulting images — I’m afraid we’re going to have to use our imaginations to see the hotness.)
In addition to the modeling career, Lessa also has made the obligatory Italian TV appearances, including a place on the most recent season of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! And, get this: She’s a DJ! Really! I can’t find any clips of her in action, but if the internet says so, it must be true. I say go Fernanda.
[I'm in meetings all day, so this WAG will be up for hours and hours. My deepest apologies.]

WOW!! Stay in the meeting as long as you like, prolong it. Just ask all kinds of useless questions :)

Yeah, seriously, many questions (think Chris Farley questioning Paul McCartney on “The Chris Farley Show” skit from SNL) and looks of complete dumbfoundedness (if that is a word) when you are addressed Martha. The longer this is the main attraction the better.
