WAG of the Week: Sara Tommasi
By: Martha | May 31st, 2007
According to Miss Sara Tommasi — who may or may not be dating Lazio’s oddly hot midfielder-turned-defender Valon Behrami — she and Super Pippo had a brief fling some time ago, and it was just totally awesome. (Two weeks in a row for Pippo — who knew he could score such lovely women?) She never talked about their relationship before, she says, because she wasn’t after the publicity. Now, apparently, she is, and wants everyone to know she once touched a Champions League hero. Which, when you think about it, is probably worth bragging about. We really shouldn’t judge.
Like many of her comrades-in-WAG, Sara came to the attention of the nation when she reached the finals of the 1998 Miss Italy pageant. After that great achievement, she turned her back on college and economics and consecrated her fame by getting some brand news boobs and doing a sort of pathetic dance in a bare, grey room. (Don’t really know what that video’s all about, though it’s more than a little depressing.)
Now, like every showgirl/model worth her salt, she’s done a nude calendar for Max (NSFW proof), appeared on a reality show (In her case, it was the Italian version of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!), worked as a VJ, and dated several footballers — the sky, clearly, is the limit, even for a girl so staunchly opposed to publicity.
Note: I’m heading off for Portugal tonight and will be in the air/too bleary/unclear on the time to do anything useful tomorrow, including posting. Hopefully I’ll get caught up and even find the Azzurri game on TV somewhere Saturday; until then, enjoy the WAG-age.

A very nice choice Martha. Classic beauty, and once again complete dumbfoundedness that Pippo could land this girl.
Have a great trip Martha and drink some Porto for us.

[…] Tommasi made her first appearance here last May, just as the 2006-2007 season was ending, so if you reach a little bit, it make sense that […]
